CAPP Members Celebrate National Therapy Animal Day

Jun 8, 2022 | Event Recap, National News

A curly-haired dog wearing a yellow service vest lies on a bed. A person gently pets the dogs head. The dog has an ID badge clipped to the vest. The scene is calm and comforting.

April 30th was National Therapy Animal Day.  Across the country, 90 state and local proclamations were issued honoring the occasion.  Locally, proclamations honoring National Therapy Animal Day were issued by Pulaski County and the City of Little Rock.

Members of Central Arkansas Pet Partners celebrated the day by gathering with their dogs for Pack Play at K9 Camp Laughlin in Conway.  A special thank you to Linda Laughlin for opening her training facility to our teams for a truly enjoyable morning of canine frolic and fellowship.
