Local Hospitals to Resume Normal Visits

Efforts to curb the spread of COVID disrupted almost all visiting at local hospitals over the last two years.  But as infection rates have declined, local hospitals have begun to invite CAPP teams to resume their visits with patients and staff. The hospitals that have invited CAPP members and their dogs to begin visiting again include Arkansas Children’s Hospital, UAMS, Heart Hospital, and the Arkansas Hospice Inpatient Unit at St. Vincent Infirmary.  The resumption of visits to our local hospitals is a source of joy for the patients, hospital staff, and all the teams involved.
